From today, new doorbells and cameras linked to saOS Home share with Neighborhood Watch as soon as they are set up. Customers who prefer not to share can switch it off in each device’s settings.
Existing devices that had sharing switched off will keep that setting, except during a declared critical incident.
Since the change was tested in Vespucci, package theft reports have increased by 31 percent. Whizz believes this is because more theft is being seen.
